A Quest for Art in North Richland Hills, TX

I have decided to go on a quest. What is this quest you may ask? The Quest is to find Art in North Richland Hills and over the next year hopefully I will bring to you all the Art that I can find in North Richland Hills, Texas.
As you can see I have found another light Utility box this one was by Richland High School it is in their school colors; their teams are the Richland Rebels. As I was driving down the street next to the school I just happen to look on top of the school and I saw these Electric possible air conditioning boxes on top of the high school and they are decorated with a sky and cloud motive.
I wonder if the art department at the school was involved in this project. It just goes to show that Art can be found in the unexpected places.

4th of July Utility Box Art

Well it's the day after the 4th of July and I just happen to see this utility box on Holiday Lane. It shows the American Flag and the Declaration of Independence in the background. I wish I had found this one sooner. I always enjoyed the 4th of July going on picnics, watching the fireworks, listening to patriotic music on my favorite country station. Remembering the men and women who have fought for the freedom that we enjoy.

This is the other one that I found it is on the corner of Chapman and Smithfield. Its a picture of Kitchen refrigerator art. It is suppose to be an old Electra refrigerator. I figure most of America has this kind of refrigerator art; magnets, children's art work, family picture, and grocery shopping list. My daughter was taking German one year and I found some German language magnets so she would arrange sentences on the refrigerator. Then she had to tell me what it meant.
I found this poem in www.apples4theteacher.com I hope you enjoy it.
Americans in Strength
By Roger Robicheau
Americans in strength unite
This Union born in freedom's light
United States, how sure we are
We'll pull together, near and far
The world can see of what we're made
Each state is of the highest grade
Determination, filled with pride
Our people's will won't be denied
Our founding fathers set to stay
The road we've traveled to this day
A quest for right cannot be wrong
With help from God, we will stay strong
Support our troops ranks number one
For the job they do is never done
When forced they put it on the line
True patriots, when called they shine
Let's raise Old Glory with a Cheer
And thank all soldiers, past and here.
